The Cure...

For a hang over...







Yup apparently these two items cure a hang over. Who knew...not me that's for sure! If I ever get a hang over, which I won't simply cuz I don't drink, I will have to buy a bag of salt and vinegar chips and a bottle of Pepsi. Just thought I would share this with you lovelies, what a customer just shared with me. Now back to work.

I have gotten into blog stalking and I love it! But it's kinda creeping me out as the blog stalker! I have found people I know and then go down their lists and find people with fun blog post and go down the blogging buddies list! This sounds fun right? (you know you do it too) Well it is fun! But then you run into a blog that has someone you know on the blog list! Someone like a old friend, or a family member of that old friend, or someone you work with, or someone who used to be a old neighbor! It gets quite interesting but way fun! And ADDICTING! If I do say so myself I am becoming quite the pro. Oh and p.s. If you don't want to embarrass yourself make sure you log out of blogger! There have been a couple times I caught myself logged in still and it can be embarrassing ha ha ha!

Friday the 13th

Dear Mr Polar Shock,
I know it's Friday the 13th and usually I don't get superstitious but today is a different story! And I am blaming you! I have cleaned you on time and every time I do, you always turn your back on me. I really am beginning to hate you. It would be greatly appreciated, if you don't want me to clean you every two weeks, if you could not say cleaning due. Thanks and if you are nice next time I will take back every mean thing I every said about you and my threats to have Pepsi take you back home for good.

This wasnt even all the bad, it got worse! Much worse!


The green mostly stayed on the towel especially cuz I started to cover it with my thumb the orange started going on the counter and floor.


And it got down in the lids on the side too so I had to throw those out and refill them and as I was refilling I spilled the new lids on the floor!

The frights!

So here at the lovely SLCC we have Student Life and Leadership right across the hall from the Quickstop and because we are right across the hall from each other...we become friends with the student government kids. Well Our friend Peter likes to come in a give me and Holly the frights. We ALWAYS jump! Course I get scared all to easily...so today Peter comes sneaking in in his jolly ol' way and while he comes walking in I am concentrating on painting my nails. So he sneaks in and pops out and says "WAHHHHHHH" and what do I do nothing other then throw the nail polish cap THE PART THAT HAS THE BRUSH ON IT! Here is evidence....


The red in the top left corner and bottom right is the nail polish! So needless to say don't ever scare a girl who gets scared easily while she is painting her nails. You never know where nail polish might end up! Ha ha ha

I love going to the Temple!!!!!!!!!!

I just got done doing baptisms at this beautiful temple!!!!!! I love going and doing baptisms for the dead! I go once a month for sure. Sometimes more...depending on how busy I am and how my week is going. I made this habit while in cosmetology school. I would go to the temple for the peace you feel there. I think it is one of the things that made me stay strong while in beauty school, so going monthly has been a opportunity for me for about two years now. At the beginning of this year I made a goal to go every week I started out strong and there have been times when I would go twice in one week. I have found that as I went monthly I would feel the need to go more often. Well since I started going every week (all though I have not made it every week now for a couple months for various reasons) I felt the desire to go and found the time to go, I even miss opportunities that I would gladly give up just to go and feel the piece of the temple. It honestly is a place I desire to go to when I am having a rough day, week, or month. I always go by myself if I can't get someone to come with me. Which is the case 99% of the time. But I don't care at all. I know the routine and I don't need someone to go with. In fact in some ways I prefer going by myself. This gives me the opportunity to ponder with out someone possibly asking me questions.

Today while sitting in the chapel waiting to get confirmed I had the biggest impression/inspiration/revelation. I don't know what to call it. I won't expound on it right now for reasons that are sacred to me but someday...hopefully sooner rather then later...when I feel is the right time I plan on putting my experience on here for me to remember and to have written down. I plan on using this more as a journal one day when I get married and have kids! I want to have it published for my posterity to see, therefore I will post about my lovely experience in the temple when the time is right...I promise. No worries readers you will find out soon (I hope....think)

Good news!

So I posted a while back about how I bought two bottles of crackle nail polish! Well guess what! Kelsee is going to take one so guess what that means!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL HAVE GOTTEN RID OF ONE BOTTLE OF NAIL POLISH! Instead of buying a new one I am giving one away! This is huge so I just had to write a little post about it!

I am in L.O.V.E

With this little girl!


Today Taylor went home and so I got to go sit with Shannon for five hours so she did not have to be alone. I didn't mind especially because it meant I got to hole Kylie! For a hour! And let me tell you...what a pleasant hour that was! I was feeling guilty and kept on telling Shannon you can take her if you want. She just laughed every time and said it's okay I can hold her anytime I want! So I kept on holding! I am in love! Okay so I was in love the second I met her face to face but there is something about holding a baby that makes you fall in love. She just laid there in my arms! It's nice that she likes to be held and the doctor says it's good for her to be held cuz then she sleeps and we all know when a baby sleeps a baby is growing. Yesterday she pooped! Great news for our family! Riley said Sunday night "isn't it funny how we all are excited to know she pooped!" incase you don't know, a pooping baby is s major sign of a healthy baby! Well yesterday...SHE POOPED! Except it was hard (not a good sign). They decided that she was showing signs of cystic fibrosis. So tomorrow she will be tested for that. Today was a different story! SHE POOPED! Even better SHE POOPED TWICE!!! And the best news...IT WAS "RUNNY"! So hopefully what ever was in her intestines was pooped out yesterday and that is why it was hard! Okay so that might have been a little to much information but I wanted to give a baby K update!
