I knew there was a reason
I did not want to go to work today! It entailed drinks freezing! But not just any drinks! CANS! Ugh! They exploded everywhere and I mean literally EVERYWHERE inside the cooler at least! I had to gut it and wash it all down! Which ended up in me doing this!

Ashley walked in when she got to work and heard what I did so she came to ask me about it so I showed her the pictures which then gave me the idea of having her take a picture with me so we got this!

Oh what fun! I had to find fun in the situation somehow! I didn't want to be grouchy all day because of it! LoL I love the fact that almost as soon as Ashley hopped in she was complaining that it was too cold! If you ask me it felt great to hop in there for a second or two to "cool off" ha ha ha

Something every father should read!
I think there are no other four better words to be told to the men performing the rolls of lousy fathers. Great article that I couldn’t help but to share
This is the link but I also copied it and pasted it below. Enjoy!
The woman started crying.
I didn't expect this, because, well, why would I? We were two adults, standing in a preschool auditorium, waiting for the year-end musical gala to begin, talking summer plans and Twitter and junk fiction and all things mindless parents talk at mindless events. Then -- tears.
"My husband," she said, "doesn't care."
"Uh, about what?" I asked.
The floodgates now open, she told me her husband works from home. But he never drops their daughter off at preschool. He never picks their daughter up at preschool. He never wakes up with their daughter, never puts her to bed, never takes her to a movie or a carnival or a ball game; never comes up with fun daddy-daughter activities. "All he worries about is golf," the mother said. "Sometimes he'll take her to the driving range for an hour. But that's it. ..."
Two days later, by mere coincidence, a different mother cornered me. I was sitting in a pizzeria with my son, Emmett, and daughter, Casey, gnawing on a calzone. The woman, another preschool regular who always seems to be dragging around her kids with the worn look of a chain gang inmate, glanced my way and muttered, "My husband would never do that."
"Do what?" I asked.
"Be out alone with both of the kids at once," she said. "Never."
In case you are wondering, I am that dad. The one who works out of the house. The one who drives his kids to school, packs lunches and pushes swings and arranges play dates and attends teacher conferences and -- generally speaking -- frequently finds himself alone in brightly colored rooms filled with women and tykes.
Along with my wife (who, until recently, also worked from home), I wipe snot, clean poop, order time outs and say no -- Really, no! I'm being serious, no! -- to the damned ice cream man and his Satanic siren call. I know all of my kids' friends, and most of their tendencies (Ashley and Emily love dolls, Lucas only wants to talk about Derek Jeter, Tyler digs applesauce).
Hence, I have been sent here today, on behalf of the stay-at-home mothers of the world, to convey to my fellow pops a message of love and hope in this lead-up to Father's Day: Wake the hell up.
Really, wake the hell up. Now. I understand that most of you have 9-to-5 jobs, that you leave tired and come home tired and just wanna chill in front of SportsCenter with a bowl of chips. But, seriously, you have no remote idea: Being a stay-at-home parent is exhausting. At the office, you can hide. You can take lunch. You can pretend you're working while scrolling the Internet for Yankees-Blue Jays and, ahem, Lindsay Lohan news. You have genuine social interactions with folks over the age of, oh, 12. People ask questions about your day -- and listen to the answers.
I envy you, but I sort of pity you. Kids grow. Age 1 turns to age 3, which turns to age 7, which turns to 15 and 18 and 21, all in the blink of an eye. If you're there, as I am, it flies. If you're not there -- if you're almost never there -- it barely exists at all. Which is why I just can't stomach those millions of dads who view their days at home as recovery from work, who'd rather rest than engage, who have no problem with passing the tykes off for more alone time with mom and who, literally, moan to their wives, "You have no idea how hard I work."
For you, I offer these 10 commandments of righteous fatherhood. Pay close attention, because, behind your back, people are pitying your wife:
1. No golf on weekends: Seriously, it's ludicrous. Your spouse is home with the kids all the time, and you think it's OK to take five hours on a weekend day to pursue your own pastime? Selfishness, thy name is Father.
2. Wake up: Literally, wake up. With your kids. On at least one of the two weekend days -- and perhaps both. I know: you wake up early for work. Not even remotely the same thing. Rising alongside the kiddies is hard. And crazy. And (gasp!) sorta fun, if you'd just stop moping.
3. Change diapers: If you have little kids, and you don't know how to change diapers (or, even worse, refuse to change diapers), you're pathetic. That's no exaggeration -- p-a-t-h-e-t-i-c. It's not all that hard, and though the poop sometimes winds up on the fingers, well, uh, yeah. It just does. Wash your hands.
4. Play with dolls and paint your toenails: How many fathers do I know who refuse to get girlish with their girls? Dozens. Dude, put aside the machismo, break out Barbie and slather on some pink polish. You'll make a friend for life -- and nobody else is watching.
5. Do things you don't want to do: It's easy to take the kids to the driving range -- because you want to be there. Now try spending the day having a tea party at American Girl. Or crawling through one of those wormholes at the nearby kiddie gym. Fun? Often, no. But this isn't about you.
6. Order the wife to bug off: I recently met a mother who told me her husband hadn't been alone with their 9-year-old daughter for more than two hours ... ever. Inexcusable. Let your wife do her own thing: relax, take a run, whatever. Entertain your children solo. They don't bite (Note: CNN.com is not liable if your children do, in fact, bite).
7. Surprise! Just once, on a random day without meaning or purpose, show up early at your kid's school/camp/wherever, say "Get in the car!" and take him/her somewhere special. Just the two of you, alone. A movie. A park. A hike. The memory lasts -- I promise.
8. Dishes Don't Clean Themselves (Nor Do Toys): It's amazing how this one works. You pick up a dish, run it under hot water with some soap, rub it down with a towel and place it back on the shelf. Then repeat.
9. Wake up your kid: Not often. But if you want to score big points and create a killer memory moment, walk in Junior's room at, oh, midnight, wake him/her up and go outside for 10 minutes to watch the stars.
10. For God's sake, tell your kids you love them: They never see you, and they'd probably like to know.
Bud, as you read this your wife is expecting little -- and your kids are expecting even less. Pull one out of the blue. Make Father's Day less about you, and all about them.

KYLIE WENT HOME!!!!!
So I can't believe I forgot the update of the century! Baby Ky went home Saturday!!!!!! Oh happy day! Her first stop out of the hospital,

Grammys of course! Her mom and dad didn't sleep well the night before so they wanted to stop by and take a quick nap before trekking home! We did not mind at all! Me and my mom made her some cute bows and flowers for her head because Shannon loves them on her and who wouldn't agree?
Also...

This family moved to Arizona Friday! The day BEFORE Kylie went home! Sad day! We would have loved to have Fiel and Dane meet her! But they won't until September now. The night before they left we went up to Layton to spend quality time with them! Yup me being the bawl baby that I am cried when We said goodbye! It's sad! It's not goodbye though just see you later. Who is going to tourture me?
Brinton is my oldest brother so that is kinda his calling in life! Let alone the fact I take it so well from ALL four of my brothers!
Becky and I are so much alike it's crazy! I remember shortly after Dad died she came and picked me up and we went shopping all day! It was so much fun! She bought me cute sandals and she got a matching pair! Cuz they were just that cute!
Fiel, oh that girl! You see we have this connection, I baby sat her for a month or two when she was just three months old. Becky went back to work and then did not like being away from her so she decided to stop working. And never went back! She is a fabulous mother and has done well.
Dane! Oh MR DANE! That kid never ceases to make us laugh! He has so many funnies it is unbelievable! I seriously wonder where he comes up with all the stuff he says. Just tonight I was talking to him on the phone when he says out of the blue even though I live here now I am still your buddy! Whenever I would see him, I would ask him who was going to be my buddy when he moves to Arizona? He would always tell me we will still be buddies, don't worry! So tonight It made me smile. Because it's cute that he would remember that and made sure to tell me We are buddies and every time they would come down to Grammies house he would ask if I was going to be there. I just connect with little kids I guess. at least with Fiel and Dane.
And that is what has been going down in my hood as of lately. With one niece going north and another niece and nephew goi south the house has become quiet boring on Sundays. But it is not forever and for that I am grateful.

Random #2
SOMEBODY needs to update her blog! I won't say who though...KELSEE!
Random thoughts
I love brightly painted toes...and I mean brightly painted...as in florescent colors bright! In the summer and dark in the winter!
I hate new tubes of mascara! It's always way to "watery" I like it when the tube seems to dry out a little.
Lately I have been drinking diet soda and even though there is no sugar in it, I still feel like I gain weight from it. Maybe it is just because of the air from the carbonation.
I may or may not have been caught buying shirts and maybe a pair of pants and a pair of capris from Wally World! DON'T JUDGE! They were cute and the shirts were v necks and had a pocket over the one...well you know... and were only like $4 he pants like $12!
I still buy a new bottle of nail polish every time I go to the beauty supply store! Hence the reason I do not go there as often anymore. And when I do I can't walk past the isle.
I am excited to go sit in some overly minerally water this weekend. That means my hair gets all nasty feeling but my skin feels AMAZING! and I am excited even though I am not going to camp over night
I am starting to enjoy my new ward more each week...even if on Sunday I was there but not mentally! I was so distracted and I do not know why!
I wish I could get a new car! Don't get me wrong I love Harriet but I like change and I think I am ready for one already!
I can't seem to get enough sleep lately! No matter what! Even if I take a little cat nap in the afternoon.
Chandra loved her bridal gift! And Rich really LOVES it! It's his favorite one and wants her to wear that on the wedding night hahahahahahaha TMI I know!
That is all

Memorial Day no Memorial Day Weekend
This past weekend was Memorial Day weekend and it was great! I loved it! It started off pretty much with friday night in a round about way! Ha ha my church had a little get-together of sorts more of a get to know your fellow ward members party! And it was fun! Then Saturday I woke up and ran to Lowes with the mother and we looked at washing machines because ours died last Wednesday. She had already found one she liked at RC Willey but thought she better check for one cheaper, and I was wanting to go to go look at bookshelves. So we went down the isle where their bookshelves would be and they did not have the color I wanted so we stopped at good ol' Wally World and found just what I was looking for! So I bought it and took in home, and built it! All by my self! So Saturday I was working on my room and it looks great I think I finally have it where I want it! I am so happy with the results. For a while now I knew I needed something. It just didn't feel like my room was complete. Well all it needed was that bookshelf! And Wa la! Here is some pictures for good measure!
I wish I would have taken a before picture but oh well. The bookshelf with the boxes I have had for a year and have had them overly crowded but not no more! I also covered the front of those boxes. They are typically black but I just sewed on some fabric to the front and they got a whole new look! Anyways so after that was done I did my moms hair and then finished my dreaded talk for Sunday! Sunday rolled around and I gave my talk! But not without reading it word for word! Ha ha and not only did I do that but I gave talk in front of my old stake president and my new stake president! Talk about intimidation! Let alone the fact that my talk I was assigned had pretty much no way to expound. People probably figured I wrote it that morning. Little do they know that I was stressing about it all week! Oh well it was probably more for my own knowledge then theirs. Monday morning I woke up at 10 am and it was nice! Got up and my mom made strawberry waffles! YUMMY! So then Brinton and Becky and the kids showed up and I got in the shower. Mom took the kids to feed ducks and I took Becky up to go see Kylie! We came home and had a BBQ and played in the backyard and it was s much fun! It started to rain a little but that did not stop us from throwing a football back and forth! I think we pretty much have accepted the fact that it's going to be a wet year this year and just have fun with it. So then after we ate some delicious steaks we had a little fire! Roasted marshmallows and my favorite...STARBURST! (thank you girls camp) after that we all went to the cemetery and I mean all of us except Kylie and it was nice especially because that is probably the last time Brinton and Becky will be able to go for long time! The. After that they left and Taylor and Shannon went up to the hospital and Riley and Kelsee went to her house and Emily and Pete went with mom to the hospital but I didn't go because I had already been that day. So I decided to go drop some flowers off at Grandpa and Grandma Buehners grave at city cemetery and drove home and it was nice to kinda drive around alone! Makes me want to move out and stuff but I love it! I love to drive around down town. And in the avenues! It was a nice day and a very much needed one at that!
