I love her! The whole 7 quarts worth!!!! Yes you heard me right! 7 quarts. Here is the story....
Yesterday my mother went to Wally World with Riley in the morning. While she was there she saw crock pots for only $17 dollars. She was telling me this and said she was really tempted to go get one more for the wedding. But she felt like she shouldn't spend the money so she decided to make what we had lined up work. Well I said I will buy one if you want. (I mean really it will come in handy one day.) And she said no it's okay. I kinda left it at that.
We then ran out to my grandmas and got her's. It's kinda small. So I then said let's go look at them. So we went to Wally World for my second time that day and my moms third (a whole other story) we looked at them got prices and such and left to price more to find the best deal. On our way out we got to talking and decided to take back some tier serving dishes to Costco deciding that, we really would not use them. We are not big on going "all out" for parties and such. Don't get me wrong they would be fun to have, but seeing as how we did not know how often we would use them we decided the $45 sounded better then keeping them. So we took those back to Costco, and proceeded to BB&B. But not before we stopped at Shopko to check out their supply. (they don't have much of a selection) and as it turns out neither does BB&B. Unless you want to spend at least $50! I love that store though! So then we went to Target! They had some but I decided if I was going to buy one, I was going to buy one with a timer. And if i was going to spend $25 on one that is 5.5 quarts why not spend a ten more dollars and get a seven quarter. Haha when I will not need one that size for a long time my mom said, you can just register for a smaller one when you get married. (good point mother!) So we left there, and made our fourth and fifth trip to Wally World. And got the beauty up above.
We used it today to make home made chicken noodle soup! And boy did. It taste GOOOOOD! Betty, yes I name things, does good work! She did not disappoint!
On another note these two get married thursday!
Which means these three
Miss F!!!
Mr. D!
Baby K!
Will finally be able to meet! And I get to see them again! Boy oh boy I can't wait!
I have a feeling Tuesday and Wednesday at work are going to drag extra long! The first two get to fly on a airplane for the first time! And they are so super excited!
Oh did I mention, because I am the cool aunt, I get to tend these three While the above couple gets married in here
Yup everyone in my family gets to attend the sealing except me! Why cant i attend the sealing? Because i am not yet endowed! I am only 21 which means I still have a few years to get married, (because we all know I am not getting married anytime soon, dating is kinda overrated anyways) which is when most girls end up going through the temple to receive their endowments. I am not planning on going on a mission, which is another reason why girls go through, and I don't have to for my job, but then again, there is no job that requires that you are endowed. So that is why I cannot attend the sealing, But you know what readers I don't care! Why do I not care? Because I would not have it any other way! I am so grateful for my knowledge of eternal families! And I know that eternal families are only possible if you get married in the beautiful, magnificent buildings dotting the earth, that are known as LDS Temples. So that my friends is the reason why I am perfectly content tending the three munchkins! Oh did I mention My cousin Hope will be there to keep me company! As if the two older munchkins won't be company enough! Haha we will have a blast though. We may just walk around the temple grounds. Or temple square, we will have to see! I have four, almost three days to figure out what we will do for that hour, give or take a little time.
That is all my ramblings for the evening. Sorry it is kinda allover the place!
